As a young girl Donna Johnson loved reading comic books and watching cartoons. And still does to this day. She would draw and imagined being a cartoonist. Even though she didn't become a cartoonist, she felt blessed and grateful that she was drawn to other avenues of art. Years of artistic expression made it clear that her life would be centered upon her passion for art. During her art life career, Donna traveled, and lived in many different places throughout the United States and overseas. Donna is a self-taught artist, but wanted to learn more. So she attended art classes, and Boston Museum of Fine Arts college. Where her artistic abilities were expanded into painting, design, and sketching. Since college, she worked as a muralist and tile designer, in California.

Over the years she has studied different types of art both formally and informally, and has worked hard to merge all of her knowledge into comprehensible pieces. Today Donna is a freelance artist, which gives her more time to work on her art. quote(' I'm able to enjoy showing apart of myself in everything I create'). unquote. Donna is equally skilled in pastels and digital art. She has found that Pastel painting is relaxing and meditative, as well as digital art which brings her a artistic avenue of unlimited creativity.
